Create a workspace
Set up a new Kamithra workspace for your team in just a few steps.
What is a workspace?
A workspace is your team's home in Kamithra. It's where all your channels, messages, and files live. Each workspace has its own URL slug (like kamithra.com/workspace/your-team) and its own set of members.
Create a workspace
Follow these steps to create your workspace:
- 1Sign in to Kamithra at kamithra.com/start
- 2Click "Create a new workspace"
- 3Set up your profile: enter a display name and choose an avatar color
- 4Name your workspace (this will also create your workspace URL)
- 5Optionally invite team members by email
- 6Click "Create Workspace" to finish
Every new workspace automatically gets two channels: #general and #random.
Workspace URL
Your workspace gets a unique URL based on its name. For example, a workspace named "Acme Design" would be accessible at kamithra.com/workspace/acme-design. The URL slug is automatically generated from your workspace name.
