Roles and permissions
Understand the different roles in a Kamithra workspace and what each can do.
Workspace roles
Every workspace member has one of three roles:
- 1Owner — The person who created the workspace. Full control over all settings, members, and content.
- 2Admin — Trusted members who can manage members, delete any message, and invite new people.
- 3Member — Regular participants who can send messages, create channels, and use all communication features.
What each role can do
Here's a breakdown of permissions by role:
- 1All roles: Send messages, create channels, share files, use threads, react with emoji, star messages, @mention others
- 2Admins and Owners: Invite new members, delete any message
- 3Owner only: Full workspace control
