@mention someone
Use @mentions to get someone's attention in a channel.
How to mention someone
Type @ followed by a person's name in the message composer. A dropdown will appear showing matching workspace members. Select the person you want to mention, and they'll be notified.
What happens when you're mentioned
When someone @mentions you, the message is tracked in your Mentions view. You can access all your mentions by clicking "Mentions" in the left sidebar. This gives you a single place to see everything that needs your attention.
View your mentions
Click "Mentions" in the sidebar to see a list of all messages where you've been @mentioned across all channels in the workspace. Each mention shows the channel name, the message content, and who mentioned you.
